Donovan, so glad you are making progress, especially on those grills. It's amazing how much time flies when you are doing intricate sanding.
The fine line tape is the cat's meow for sure.

Oh, and I dig the color scheme. It plays well with the brightwork!

Kickass job Donovan! The contrast from the satin to the spray chrome looks sweet, anxious to see them untaped all the way and on the car. You can definitely put that in the win column and check em off!!

I did some more unmasking on them last night, and all I can say is I'm extremely happy with the results. I should have pics up of them installed for the "payoff" results either later tonight or tomorrow

If I'm not mistaken the vendor/product he uses is CosmiChrome.

Ok, so because we all see so many fine rides and read thru so many different build threads on here, I want to give everyone a quick refresher on what has led up to this upcoming final post on what has been a long labour intensive journey...

It won't be thru one of my infamous long-winded posts with lots of text, but rather thru a reminder "photo history" of the work that's lead up to this point.

So here goes. The road so far, it started with this:

After trimming, the initial mockup:

Then setting them in permanent.

Bodyworking them in...

...and eventually, I could mount the lights like the factory intended so I could do this:

Then it was back to fine tuning and finishing...

And then into high build primer.
