LOL yes sir! That is my free gift EVERY TIME I go... they do come in quite handy! I must have 100 packs by now..
Bought another gallon of ShopLine high build primer, matching hardener, and some more Clean n Strip wheels from my supplier today.
Don’t really need the high build just yet, but found out they’re discontinuing it and not bringing any more in effective immediately.😠
So I figured I’d better buy up what they’ve got left. Have to go back tomorrow because they were out of the AutoMix nozzles I need for the seam sealer. Dropped close to another $200 on top of the $550 I already spent there 2 weeks ago. 😱
That’s ok tho, because they comp me free stuff, like this calendar poster from 2011 they tried to placate me with, when I inquired about their new PPG calendars (that weren't in yet).

Bosses are all out of town tomorrow, so in the morning ima sneak the door hinges and a few other odds n ends in to work to sandblast.

Scored the Edelbrock Performer Intake (3701 - With EGR) for $44 BUCKS!!!! Needs media blasted, as it is a little on the dirty side, but all bolt holes are good and no cracks. 😀
Tailpipes arrived today. I got the "Straight out the back" tailpipes instead of the 45 Degrees behind the wheel - they were on sale.. Asked the wife, and she liked the straight out the back pipes, so... I blame her 🙂
Now, I officially have everything for my Stock 305 that I want to do. (Intake, Headers+duals - everything - down to gaskets, hangars, clamps, 02Bung, etc. etc. etc.)
Now, if I had a heated garage.. I would already be working on it. Have to use the Auto Hobby Shop on the base, maybe this weekend..

That's the exact same carb number my '70 Sp engine came with. its a 455 carb, so I sold it for $50. Plus it doesn't have the extra nub for a Th350 cable, but I couldn't bring myself to mod it. Nice scores! Qjets are probably the 3nd or third ugliest carb, but I really do like how they look, despite it's ugly. Kinda like 69-70 grand prix's.
Just bought a speedometer gear set (housing, gears, hardware), dew sweeps from gbodyparts, and a set of 50 door panel clips.
bought a bottle of friction modifier @ford sat morning,couldn't get outta there fast enough,all i needed was someone i know to see me there..
I got dew sweeps all 4 from Jegs for 66 bucks.. couldn't find them anywhere else close to that..i installed one yesterday.

Its both inners, both outers, for the cars with the door top molding. They claim to be "the best on the market with predrilled holes", so I decided to put that claim to the test.
