Well, because I'm obviously good at torturing myself I ordered some PTFE fittings to build my power steering lines(already have enough line here). I went ahead and installed the pulley which looks slick, but looks like the recommended belt is too long soooooo I'll have to get a shorter belt. View attachment 109162 View attachment 109161
That belt routing does not look correct I think there is not enough contact with the water pump and crank pulley it looks like it will slip

I bought them from summit racing. I googled their polciy on stuff like this and looked a bit at their warranty coverage, it says the tires can't be returned if they're mounted, not that I'd bother returning them. I'll probably contact them and see what can be done.
i encourage you to keep at it. cooper warranty info is listed on the tire page. here is vague copy from one of their pages.

If your Cooper radial tire becomes unserviceable as a result of an eligible condition during the first 25 percent of tread wear, it will be replaced with an equivalent new Cooper tire, free of charge, including mounting and balancing. When the tread is worn more than 25 percent, a replacement charge will be required in order to obtain a replacement tire.

have your DOT numbers from the tires and you may need to provide pics and tread depths which are usually measured in 32nds of an inch.

Standard Coverage
If your replacement Cooper branded radial tire becomes unserviceable as a result of an eligible adjustable condition during the first 2/32" (1.6mm) of tread wear, it will be replaced with an equivalent new Cooper® tire, FREE OF CHARGE, including mounting and balancing. When the tread is worn more than 2/32" (1.6mm), a replacement charge will be required in order to obtain a replacement tire. You must present proof of purchase and be the original owner when requesting a replacement for your tire.

I bought tires from Summit once

They were 2 years old.

Never buy tires from them again.

The only thing that might save you is the receipt if they are that old.

Bought a shorter Dayco Made in USA belt. It's tight, but it still might be an inch long as its touching the thermostat housing which sucks! Looks like I'm calling ICT tomorrow since their original belt rec was WAY too long!!!

Welcome to Belt Roulette! As a former contestant, my advice is to go 1.5" shorter than what you think you need, then get the one on either side of that. Basically, get 3 belts; you can take them back as long as you don't start it.
