Ol' Jim still kickin' around, huh? I hadn't seen him online for a long time, and he had the shop up for sale. I bought a halo girdle from him about 3-4 years ago when I had my 468 built.

In other news: I just ordered a bottle of Super Soft 2 veneer conditioner for the dash project. Damned shipping cost more than the solution...

Isn't that the way. I got back in to building scale models. All the hobby stores have dried up and gone in my area. So polystyrene strips that cost $5 are going to cost me $10 because I have to get it though the interwebs because no one local has it.

I kinda miss the days of buying stuff local...from a human.

Well, because I'm obviously good at torturing myself I ordered some PTFE fittings to build my power steering lines(already have enough line here). I went ahead and installed the pulley which looks slick, but looks like the recommended belt is too long soooooo I'll have to get a shorter belt.

Ordered the roller cam and lifters for the 519 Caddy. Sent the bottom end off for balancing.

That is a good looking console. I wonder if they make it in dark blue?

EDIT.....after looking on the site they do have a couple of dark blues. My bench seat needs one
