What did you buy for your G body today? [2019]

Need to buy a new shifter for the 80E, but I'm having an internal struggle on which one to get.

I've always liked the look of a Quarter Stick, but it looks like all the 4 speed versions are pistol grip (and that's Dodge crap).

Yep. I've pretty much narrowed down to these. I currently have a Hurst Vmatic 2 that I've used since 2003ish and it's been great, but it won't work on the 80E. The kicker is I already have my Monte console modified for the Vmatic shifter.

It looks like they built a PRNDL switch into it... that is trick.

I chose to just order the new Hurst Vmatic 3 for a couple reasons. I've had the previous unit for years(it'll be for sell soon), and my console is already modified for this shifter which will save some time.

This just showed up in the mail. The part looks better than the picture, the milling job was done nice and all the edges have a uniform chamfer. The bolts that came with it look like SS . I would buy from this company again, nice to deal with and they deliver what you think you are buying.

Finally closed a deal that’s been 2 years in the making this evening. A set of 4 rare “like new” Olds center caps for my restored N78 442 aluminum wheels:

The chrome is flawless, the Olds logos will need repainted black, but even all the mounting screws on the backside are there and not stripped out. These things are rare like hens teeth, near unobtainium especially in mint condition.

It was a good day.
