Studs and fancy ARP 12 point nuts showed up for the diff cover. It came with bolts, but they'll rust, and I'm a picky b*tch and want it to look nice. Does it need studs...absolutely not! Will they look cool? Hell yeah they will! Will anyone ever notice it? Highly unfvkin lightly!

There is more quality weld on the seam of that replacement rail than the whole of a factory chassis.
Laid under the car the day it came and sized it up damn near spot on the gauge of metal isn’t as thick as the original frame it is a nice piece

Ordered these last September. Took about 12 weeks to get as they are made to order. When I got them they didn't have air tubes like I ordered so had to send them back at no cost to me. Took a couple weeks to get these back. Been in the box sitting in the corner while I do other things. Guess I should put them on so I can get the new exhaust under the car.

Got off work a couple hours early yesterday, so I went to the wrecking yard and picked up a pair of remote mirrors off of an '86 Monte.
I am following a thread here about converting to power mirrors. I will see what I can do with these. View attachment 142795
As a plus, these are a maroon color, not obnoxiously far off of the brown of the Caballero. Never know though, I might paint them black.
These look an awful lot like the ones found on 3rd gen fbodys. Are they the same or no?

when we joined two rails on a chassis we would make a fish plate to cover the seam...

I couldn't tell you, I am not very familiar with fbody vehicles, but they do look like other Monte mirrors I have seen.
In the thread "power mirror upgrade", I think someone mentions fbody and Corvette mirrors being the same.

Here we are, the correct thread.

2x 235/60/15 cooper cobras

4x relays

2x band clamps

1x horn wire

1x governor recal. kit

Can GP split this thread into 2019 and 2020 already?

I spent out about $200 for an AC Compressor and a Dryer for the Bonneville. I also bought 5 cans of R134a, since I guess the stock system capacity is freaking 54 oz. I hope all these S10 and Bonneville parts play nice together, since the compressor hose I had made does not have a provision for a high pressure port. Filling will be more or less an educated guess.
