Missing parts arrived. No arguments, RA just got the replacements on the road hours after filing the report. I like doing business with them.

Just realized that I need the slide pins and boots.

The adapter brackets - research or design from scratch. Not a lot of ready options.

Big brake upgrade makes a bracket for those. They make one for both stock spindle and Blazer spindle.

Out of curiosity though why the GP rotor? They run 5x114 if I’m not mistaken. From the swaps I’ve seen with the gen1 ctsv brembo you need a Camaro SS rotor.

G8 used the same bolt pattern as Camaro. 5x120. I have to open up the center diameter of the rotors to 70.7 mm to match the Corvette rotors. We’ll see how this plays out.

My mistake, I looked up the part number and saw GXP and my brain immediately assumed Grand Prix.

I have their brackets and hubs. Great service and quick shipping.

A friend with access to a big lathe is opening up the hub bores and drilling/tapping the Blazer hub flanges for the single machine screw that retains the manhole cover rotors. We think it is an M8.



I’ve had the hubs for 5 years. Time to do something with them…



The next step will be designing the caliper-knuckle adapters. BigBrakeUpgrade.com has a design for 98-02 Blazer, but they set it up for the six-piston Brembos.

They are, these are 16+ Camaro SS using z51 Corvette rotors

Scored a complete 68 Olds 350 today on trade! For what I traded I got $22 into it plus a 40 min ride! Only thing he kept was intake and carb, put I didn’t want it even if he offered it! Said front 2 cylinders where stuck, but don’t look too bad. # 6 heads. Check out the pictures!
