What did you buy for your G body today? [2023]

Bought an auxiliary fuse panel to put next to the auxiliary battery. Had to make a bracket for it and also made a switch panel. Also purchased an AutoMeter trans temp gauge to match my other gauges. As 88AZSS said, our car season is opposite of most of yours. Started installing some of those things but it's slow going with the one hundred teens everyday. And yes, it's a dry heat but SO WHAT!

Hopefully the last order for the motor build but I am sure I forgot something, besides Summit not having a 3" exhaust hangers that bolt in.....

Picked up a passenger side rocker panel molding and two rear bumper shock mounts for the ‘80. Still need a driver side rocker molding. The molding will hopefully clean up and shine with some elbow grease. Picked up the parts in Harrisville RI, the guy has a big storage building filled with GBody parts.

I bought a GPS speedo for my Monte and then painted the bezel to match my other Ultralites.

Wasn't for mine but was for a G, the set of '86-'88 MCSS wheels, another set P/L & P/W door harnesses. Even got a set of lower door panel seals that are that aftermarket foam rubber unlike the OE rubber ones. Was able to finally get the right size wheel lock socket to get the wheel locks off. Only bad thing was someone took the centers off the front wheels yesterday as they where on them Thursday.

I like my GPS speedometer. I put my GPS receiver in the corner of the driver's side dash at the bottom of the window. You can barely know its there. All my gauges are the AutoMeter sportcomp 2. I still haven't played around with it much yet. It does a lot of stuff besides gel you how fast you're going. You'll like it.

Local yard? If so, which one? I might want a V8 fan shroud for my new purchase - Buick 350. The Cutlass at Millerstown had one & I wonder if it's still there, or if there's one at another local yard.

That Cutlass does still have the shroud as of yesterday. Under hood really hasn't been messed with. I did grab the battery cables off the other one that has the 3.8 in it. Other than some acid marks on the positve battery end, they were too nice to leave them there to be hacked by someone.

Maybe I'll go get it this week. & I know "too nice to leave"... I pulled this plug wire set off of the GP at Dansers. Great condition & cleaned up nice.

Arizona beigh paint and walnut brown metalic two of three quarts for custom paint project thinking of a third color antique bronze metalic and some candy clear additive (something)lol...I already have some odd trim colors metalic black red teal but I don't know what il end up designing or useing
