Picked up the new heater core and since both my T5 WC transmissions need parts and I don't want to wait for them to come in I bought another T5 WC today so I can get the car on the road and see what difference the ZZ4 roller cam makes

Pulled the rebuilt 305 back out of the Grand Prix today and discovered that the number 6 piston broke in half upon start up.

put 3.42s in it...... it was just terrible. didnt even get out of the driveway and i hear a loud *ss clanking/grinding.

Got pulled over and given a warning for "drafting like a Nascar driver" then while the cops were running my license a bird crapped on my arm :blam: at least it didn't get on my door panel.

been wrking hard on my sons regal .. did all the wiring in the engine compartment, add the steering pump , alternator bracket, shifter, I got the following left to do..

exhaust manifolds,
Belts
drive shaft
Wire up the electric fan
transmission cooling lines
radiator hoses
Steering pump hose
heater controll valve
Install the hood
then fire the beast up!!!!!!!
looks like alittle but wrking on it an hour a day might take me two freeking weeks.....

Not today, but yesterday...I spent quite a while trying to line up this damn cowl hood that came on the car. One side sat up way too far,so I had to cut a notch out on that side because it kept resting on the hinge mount. It still sits up a bit too high, and I adjusted everything I could. Any suggestions? lol. I also moved it up to fill the gap in the front since it didn't line up perfectly.
It seems I have to RE-do everything on this car since whoever owned it before just half assed everything on it. The wiper arms were all goofy, had to re align those. One was sticking way out/up,and the other was way too far down(damn near bending down the stop for the wiper on pass. side).

Also recently extended the true duals all the way out the back. The old setup had turn downs exiting just at the end of the trans.

I will try to get pics later..

Well today I checked all my fasteners on the bottom end, Installed the timing chain, masked off the block and painted it, along with the heads, timing cover, oil pan, valve covers and intake manifold.
