I ordered Bilstein AK linear shocks and new tubular A arms. I also bought one of these, it's only 28 lbs and small so it'll fit nicely in the trunk

wanted to use VHT Cast Iron Gray, but turns out it's not available in Canada. So ended up using Duplicolor Cast Coat Iron. Tried it on my water pump, came out decent, so decided to do the same for my intake. One can did the whole thing, it was very tricky painting under the air-gap
You will be happy with that paint. I used the same color from Duplicolor to paint my engine, transmission pan, and rear diff pan all about 2 years ago and its still holding up great. All I did was wipe everything down with thinner and spray it.
that's good to know! I found out that VHT is made by Duplicolor, they are one in the same. So I would expect the same quality from either line of paints. But the VHT rep on the phone did say that the Duplicolor Iron blend is slightly darker than the VHT, but oh well...

I just ordered single adjustable UMI lowers for the rear. I'm getting them modified to use the Roto Joint instead of the QA1 joint. I found a store in Toronto that carried UMI, their prices are good, they are easy to deal with and quick with the answers. I know it helps that UMI are very helpful as well.

that looks awesome! thanks for sharing. I guess the VHT and Duplicolor are alot closer than I imagined. The rep on the phone said the Duplicolor was noticeably darker, but I can hardly tell

Did you use any primer or special prep work on your's before paint?

It was sandblasted first and then just a paint, no primer... Don`t know how its going to last, but we will see...
