What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

Today was more electrical work. Started re-wiring the interior lights from scratch. Whoever worked on it before I got the car butchered it. Got more than half of them working, next week it's on to the cluster lights. Also installed my freshly painted center console. Also added some custom LED lighting there and wired into my new harness. Noticed the trunk was not lined up properly and fixed that too. Got much done this weekend!

i really dont understand how just about every (used) car I've bought had butchered up wiring on it.....I've had to repair wiring on almost every car I've owned. Even my 02 Expedition which appeared to be stock and un-molested, turned out to have a wiring nightmare, from a previous owner adding stereo equipment and pretty much just f*cking with the rest of it for some unknown reason

Sunday: Gave it a much needed long bath. Between the leaf stains, and the nieghbors recent tree be-heading, the car was pitiful looking.
Today: I could resist the urge, I drove it to work 8) .

Drove all the way down to Niagra falls with the Olds and picked up some 15x7 Olds rallys and going to cosco today to order BF goodrich tires im still unsure of the tire size to put on what is the biggest size of tire without rubing as well as filling the wheel wells perfectly?

Monday - a rare (very rare) day off from work, but only because I worked an overnight last night. Not only that, but it was like 72+ today - and this is after a snow storm last week and a hurricane the week before. Crazy! The wife and I cleaned up a few things and started getting the car ready to lay up for the winter. A good cleaning, a final run, and hook up the battery charger and run fuel stabilizer through. I made it so it is easy to unwrap - I want to do more interior work on warmer winter days.

275/60/15 on the back rubs just barely, but you can roll the inside of the fender lip and its all good. And 265/60/15's up front no problem.

Today car alarm guy came to my house to install viper alarm, then a craigslist customer followed right behind him to purchase my Edelbrock 600cfm, Then when to Carb shop (Alfa Carbs) and this was his last Holley 600cfm Perfromace carb. paid a $25.00 difference and had a smile on my face all day...so proud to be part of the Holley family... :wink: 😀
