NOTHING YESTERDAY, it was NASTY outside, rain, sleet, hail... got my intake manifold yesterday, and i'm going after work to get a couple 1/2" plugs for the heads and the 2.5" x-pipe and a few other odds n ends to finish buttoning everything up so i can finally start the new motor... and in case anyone missed it, the intake is a vortec style, polished performer rpm that i picked up for $172.50 shipped from "parts boulevard"... ONLY REASON I KEEP MENTIONING HOW MUCH IT COST AND WHERE I GOT IT FROM IS BECAUSE IT WAS A DAMN GOOD DEAL AND IN CASE SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS ONE BUT DOESNT WANT TO PAY A RIDICULOUS PRICE FROM THE BIG NAME STORES...

The front wheels are goona rub like a motherf**ker ,I got them on my car "just for now" cause that's all i had at the time,i can't go over 45 an hit dips without them bottoming out in the wheel wells,if your not careful it could easy make you wreck around 60-or 70,trust me i found although i didn't wreck,it sure pulled hard to one side

What springs do you have in front? I have OEM GN springs, 225/75R15 have "only" 1.15 inch extra material all around compared to OEM GN tires... The 225 will rub on the plastic inner fenders when I steer to the max. P205 would probably make more sense for the front tires... and would also change the stance of the car.

Springs are "said to be" from a V8 4 door caprice, now weather they are the same/different height than V8
g body springs, i don't know

205/75R15 front + 225/75R15 rear fixed the rubbing.

I got a set of tires mounted on my new wheels. The wheels are 17 x 8 Summit legend 5 wheels and the tires are Falken Ziex 912 245/45/17. Paid 515 dollars for them with road hazard. not a bad looking set. I might post pics of them later.
