I would recommend you replace the drier, especiallly if the system has been open (if all the refrigerant leaked out, it is open) or inactive for some time. Good luck & let us know how you make out as I want to get mine going too.For the 2nd night now I have started to put my AC stuff back on the car and it's started to rain. I bought a new orifice tube and o-ring set but cant decide if I should replace the drier...
RegalBeagle, love the purple - looks like the Joker wuz here. Also, heavy respect for building a Buick 455. This might be the hardest GM V8 to build! I have one in my garage, but free wasn't low enough to offset the cost of all the parts. Weird how Summit offers very few B455 parts...
