After two weekends of car shows it was time to do some work. Yesterday the thermal switch for the electric fan failed and the water pump bearings were rough so today I wired in an adjustable thermostat for the fan and installed the new water pump that I painted last night. Replaced the coolant as well. And While looking around underhood I found the vacuum advance hose split and fell off the nipple.

Over the weekend I bought some used parts that I've been needing for awhile. I put the license plate pocket and rear marker lights I bought on the car. I replaced 4 burnt out bulbs and now all of the exterior lights are working.

I drove it angry and left rubber on the highway. Some silly Lexus IS-F wanted to pick a fight with me. I think I surprised him a little.

I bought a GP dash clock from jeremyandthemonte today so I installed it and it works, I hope it keep time, Gota thank Jeremy for thast great deal. I have been looking for the dash clock to replace my non functioning one for a long time ....and I picked up my new fuel sender from Napa which will be installed when the tank is near empty

A couple of weeks ago, on a lonely mountain, twisty road, I cat came calling on my rear bumper. As this cat passed me after a short respite on my bumper, it made an awful noise. I hopped on this cats back and pursued it through many curves and elevation changes. This cat had out of state plates and not familiar with this road. As the last rise of the road greeted us, he slowed as I blazed past him. Once he got a real long look at my rear plates, a mile later, he finally came calling again. Now on the flats and side by side, this cat wanted another look at my rear bumper. Whom am I to deprive him of another clear look at my plates. He saw all of it and got a long glance of it. This cat was disguised as a Jaguar F-Type convertible, supercharged. The cat now has a shaved *ss and walks backwards. I pulled into the next gas station as 7 gallons of fuel evaporated rather quickly during the manicuring of this cat.................

I put 2 good used tires on the back of the car. Over the weekend I replaced one of the lines to the air shocks.

Today I put a hole in my hood. The air cleaner rod must have unscrewed when I took the air cleaner off to adjust my detent cable. I slammed my hood down and it wouldn't latch so I opened it back up to see if I left a tool in there and the slammed it with a little force, the result was the air clean rod piercing the hood and stuck up about 1/4 in. I didn't even fix it I just looked at it shook my head and walked inside
Now just put the wing nut on. And keep the hood down. Ha ha. Jj that sucks.

I had my son start disconnecting the rear so we can swap rears.
