I was actually just looking at one at my favourite local tool store on the weekend. Hard to justify buying one for one time use.
Wouldn't be so bad if a guy went in on it together with a coupla friends, or could rent it out. Make it pay for itself.
I put another carb together with a little bit different set up than the quadrajet that is in the GP now. This carb I was working on has slot screws and it bugs me when the heads are chewed up by someone using the wrong size screw driver. It seems some think any size slot screw driver will work as long as it fits in the slot.
I was in Calgary last week and could have brought mine. Work would have paid for the extra baggage too.

I know where you are coming from Donovan but I've never begrudged buying a tool. I have stuff I'll never use again but for me, there's hardly a better feeling to me than having the right tool for the job.
Rent it out 4 times at $25 and it will have paid for itself.
