on kijiji in Ontario there are a bunch of those tools for rent, there should be some in your area as well...

Thanks Steve!
I originally rated your post as a "like", but I've since changed that to "winner" as I searched Kijiji in Calgary and found this:

That was a great idea, I don't know why I didn't think of it myself!
Plus his rental fee is excellent too.
🙂
Guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend...

Every day those afr gauges look more and more tempting...

you have to get one, takes all the guesswork out. With this carb today it would idle great then drop off. The gauge old me it was leaning out so that means a vacuum leak. I forgot to tighten up the vacuum line for the brake boost. The gauge makes it simple

I'm glad that is going to work out, I search kijiji all the time to see what's available.

I have the AEM 30-4110

I too struggled for literally decades with the "butt dyno" tune. AFR gauge takes 99% of the guesswork out of what is going on.
In the end I was only a few turns in( too rich of course ) but what a difference those few turns made in both the performance and economy! I have still to fine tune the settings but the car runs harder than ever before since I put in the AFR gauge.

took mine to work for the first time in over a week. Cleaned all the muck out of the overflow with gravel and simple green, Sanded down the edges then refilled with fresh coolant !
I also picked up a sibling for the monte to play with this week ( wifeys new dd ). 2012 Camy v6 SE. Pretty stout little rice burner if I do say so ! 14.3 1/4.... hard to say no for a sub $15k dd thats made in the US

After 2 years of off and on searching, I finally found that motherfuggin throttle cable/kickdown bracket!!! Website called Partingout.com. Off a '78 LeSabre if I recall, with a 350 BUICK, 4 barrel, and TH350. Alas, it's still not without it's problems. It bolts on with two bolts as opposed to the single bolt style both of my intakes and the TA intake utilize. But, it's nothing I can't handle. There's plenty of space on the mounting pad of the bracket. Drill a hole here, slot one there, and it'll mount up like factory. Clean it up, nice coat of satin black, and it'll be perfect.
