The problem is as soon as you ask them & they say they do, the don't. Spend all those years training & breaking in to make them keepers just to ruin them with a ring. 🙁

The wedding cake causes the bride to be paralyzed from the neck down and she never recovers

Spent a few hours filing off some casting flash from my lifter valley while my little brother worked on a go kart. I've never really opened up a Ford or Chevy engine, but I swear Buick must've made sure there was extra flash on purpose. First pic is between 5 and 4 mains after I was finished, second is between 4 and 3 before I started. I didn't wanna go nuts, just removing what was needed.

My carb was low on fuel in the morning and worse if left for a couple of days. I removed the carb today and put on one of my spares. I removed the bottom plate from my carb and as expected the plugs were leaking. They had been covered by whoever rebuilt the carb last time and when I had changed the bottom plate so I could set up an electric coke I checked the plugs and they had been covered so I thought they'd be ok. Turns out the stuff they used to cover the plugs was falling apart so I am not sure what they used. Anyway I removed what was left of the material that was used, cleaned the area real well and sealed the plugs with epoxy. I'll let it dry overnight and put it back on tomorrow sometime....🙂

Probably Elmer's Glue. Just a guess.

You ever order car parts, and even though it says "will be delivered on X day", you still kinda hope they'll come early? That was me today. Parts should be here tomorrow, and Monday I'm gonna order my cam n lifters from crower, then I'll finally be able to assemble my engine. 😀
