What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

Big flooding here in Iowa.
Got my dumbass stuck in about a foot and a half of water at an intersection in the bowels of a neighborhood. I was trapped like a fish in a regal.
Go forward, water.
Backwards, water.
Doubt these people would like me driving in their lawns, so I went for it.
Did not go well. Air filter got soggy, ran battery dead trying to start.
Got a jump from a nice neighbor guy and off I went to get some fast food as originally intended.

ProTip: When your rear floorboards fill with water, a fast food cup *preferably large* makes a good scooping tool.

Anyone else to something stupid today?

Did a little more "lightening" under the hood. removed the blower fan and the A/C "Core"? because the A/C has long been since deleted. I also replaced the fuel hose from the chassis to the pump that got kinked during my hurried pump swap. it was losing fuel pressure on the big end and the car was surging.
I got a chance to hit the track on the 17th and my learning curve is improving. reaction time needs work, 60' times are getting a little better, feathering the gas out of the launch until the tires grip. The new hose cured the surging and I have wheeled the car to a 10.49@ 67 mph in the 1/8th. too bad I wrote 10.50 as a dial in

My buddy got the EFI wrapped up a while ago, been fighting with the turn signal gremlins which I believe are also taken care of. Started on the gauges at the beginning of the week with the other trouble shooting, still have the air ride and the Z06 brakes to go.

I got a new battery from Napa, and sorted out license plates and insurance at the registry. I also took out the back seat and found a nasty wet mess back there.

you need to add a couple of proper throttle return springs to your list, what you have now could cause alot of problems..

Appreciate the catch on that, trying to update all I can on it. Can't take credit for the fenders, the builder was able to get them in

Got my 350 refreshed with a new timing chain and new head gaskets. Just bought and installed a reverse rotation water pump for the S10 serpentine drive system that is about to be bolted onto it.

Nothing like making it look nice instead of just functional.
