Plumber the fuel pump to the car, braided line and AN fittings. Picked up a thermostat, lower radiator hose, and radiator cap. Piece by piece....baby steps. One day, one day soon, it will live.

is that your car or the misses cause the thread is about what you did to your car...if it is the misses then you can tell her we misses her and we'd like to hear what she got you to do to her car..

gp.....that was awesome....I almost fell out of my chair laughing. The work, and parts are on the 87, so I guess I can say I worked on "mine", although, they are both most likely to be deemed "hers"....lol. And if you remember, she can and does wrench, so she usually only needs me for the heavy stuff...lol...

I do remember your wife works on the cars and that's awesome...and you sure have a nice set up with that garage

to stay with the theme of the thread I checked out my GP today and the battery is really dead, I popped the hood to see if it was still there. It shouldn't be dead cause it strong enough to start the car a few weeks ago so I guess that battery has issues and time for a new one. I checked and the only draw was the alarm. I'll relocate the new one to the trunk area.

Thanks, again GP.....we love the garage.
Took the valve covers off, and scuffed them and the valve cover bolts, and put on some paint.
Here is a shot of the valvetrain:

and here is the motor after a quick scuff and paint on the valve covers and bolts, and reinstalled:

I still have to plan out how I am going to tape the motor off, and scuff and paint the heads and water pump.

***edited*** I had the wrong motor pic uploaded....

I tore the front end off

And I got the LEDs in my gauges.
