it wasnt today but a few days ago I blew the rear in my elky. I guess it was my own fault. I knew it was bound to happen, just was hoping it would wait awhile. so now im stuck with no car lol. I havent pulled the diff. cover yet, but i have a feeling I might of messed somethin up bad. I jacked it up pulled the wheels and drums off and tried spinning the axles w/it in nuetral. the driver side, which was the noisyest while driving, spun real hard and made a horrifying crunching/grinding sound, and the pass side spun really easy(it WAS a limited slip lol) so now im on the search for another rear because I really dont know enough about them to fix it. it was a bad day!

since it's a limited slip you probably busted the pinion gears, it's common that they break first...if you did you can get the kits at Jegs if it's an Auburn which it probably is for around $200. You'll need the pinion gears service kit and the spring retainer kit. It's not a hard repair and you won't need to remove the carrier from the rear end housing. if you need help just send me a message

Installed a new Tuff Stuff gear reduction mini-starter on the SS, and removed the twist-in spacers that were in the front coil springs. I was gonna install my new New Tech 140 amp alternator and new spark plugs on it, but I had to stop to come watch the ARK vs. LSU game. Maybe it'll get done next weekend cause it definitely ain't happening tomorrow. Gotta see the Iron Bowl, ROLL TIDE!!!

Pulled 3.8 and starting to strip the front clip to get ready for 350. Was given a Carter 600 cfm, a friend of mine just took it off of his Camaro, for a Stealth. Waiting to get the rebuild kit for it.

That monte is looking good...

for my GP I took off the collision part of the insurance and just left fire, theft and vandalism on it...

Put the malibu away for it's winter slumber......Though yesterday I did take it out and have a little fun wasting some excess fuel  , actually took a little vedeo too, just have to figure out how to get it off my phone  (too big to send via text).

As I left for work the headlights shined on the monte sitting at the top of the driveway. It looked so peaceful under its first coating of snow this year. For a half second I actually thought about starting it up and doing some donuts in the cul-de-sac before work but alas it was time to go ! 🙂

Picked Up a 3:73 posi rear today. Spray bomed one side of the car to see how I like it. And mounted the tires on the wheels. Still waiting for engine parts and interior parts to come in.
