I put on a license plate bracket from a camaro. It's so much nicer than holding the plate down to fill up the tank! Flip it down and it stays down! Flip it back up and it flips back up. The other plus is it only has one spring, the original POS has two, WTF? So, not only does it not stay down but you have to fight with it twice as much because they used two springs in it. Thanks GM, bunch of jackasses, was it really that difficult to put these stay down brackets in all cars?

Received some parts I ordered from Amazon and Ebay today. Looking forward to installing them tomorrow and getting the estimates on the paint. Even more exciting it is supposed to be high 50's and sunny - no snow!! Finally!!

i didn't do anything to my car but i borrowed money so i could go to the junk yard today to buy a MINT Complete dash for 35 bucks With not even a single crack, not faded up top either, odometer has 127.000, The pic is of it still in the car,it shined up real nice with armor all. Thinking about getting the windshield out but not sure if it be better now being cold or wait till it warms up,but by then it may be sent to the crusher an hauled out of there

I did this late last season. The plate bracket had been sitting in the pile of spare parts for years when I finally got around to installing it. Much better.

As for today: Took a look into the garage, it's still waiting patiently...

Took a rid to the local pick-a-parts yesterday. Picked up some Malibu hood hinges for the wagon, so i can do the gas strut conversion. I picked up rear door armrests, and sill plates. I also bought a fireturd HVAC control, since they have 3 bulbs in them and have some better backlighting. Started cleaning up my C5 Z06 calipers.
