Started laying out a set of rear bump stops for the wagon... because auto-x.

a few things done while waiting for parts to put diff back in...


Window tint can ruin your day. Shocks came with the car.
Cleaned up stereo install, now it actually works, and works well. Installation is everything with car stereo, the kid had it so messed up I cannot even begin to understand what he was doing.
My wife looked at it and said"Now you can put the battery in the trunk"
good GBody wife.

Removed the Lokar throttle cable from the old setup, and installed this Ebay special which looks pretty nice. It's not braided, but I want it to sorta disappear. I'll have to fine tune once the intake is bolted down, but progress is progress!
Also, for purely mockup purposes I needed to make sure the new coilpack brackets fit right lol. If I can get a warm, dry day in KY I'll get the valve covers painted and installed for good.

Wow you got those brackets quick! I wanna see how that cable works out. I’m trying to decide on a cable that looks decent or going DBW

It was yours. Wish I had canted mine the way you did. When I was putting it together, I was guessing about where the wheel would obscure the gauges, and missed by just a bit. I think if I had offset as yours are I would have greater visibility. Hopefully that changes a bit once I have the original column, and a better wheel back in the car

Finally had a nice day to paint my valve covers. The ole standard wipe down, wipe down again, engine primer, paint and clear. They are drying but hope to bolt them down later.
