needed new muffler, had this flowmaster with tailpipes attached laying around and realized that it came out of my 87 regal 10 years ago. A little surgery with the sawzall and a ball peen and it just slipped right into place.

And in the "What did your G-Body do to you today" category...
Also changed my rear shocks and learned a lesson as my car punched me in the nose for being stupid. Shock fell and hit me square on the nose. Saw stars and my nose bled from the inside and outside. Going to leave a mark.

😏 It's enough to rotate it vertical which is all I needed. I try to do everything on a budget if I can, it's tough to maintain this hobby with a house full of kids!
Right there with you man, I like the ingenuity! I have two young kids, so I work as much OT as possible to fund the Cutlass resto. That's also why I try to bargain shop as much as possible. Just earlier I went by Oreilly to get O2 sensors, they want $49/each and I can order them online for $30/each. They wouldn't price match so I walked out and they lost a $65 sale!

To be honest it wasn't my idea. I did however learn in the process that your engine stand vertical tube can't be the type that's slanted back...
Awesome car, by the way. Wheelin and dealin!

Got the suspension done. Still need to swap over the steering box and column. I’m gonna try to get the rear end done tomorrow.

I had a ruff day. Had my yearly review at work and the general contractor that was supposed to meet me tonight ****ed me around. I hate people some times! So I needed some alone time with the Monte. I hacked the old exhaust of the car and started mocking up the new. Here is a picture of the old laying next to the new.

It went from my three inch down pipe to a two inch pipe and then y ed back out. Pretty restrictive, and sounded kind of dumb with the glasspacks. Check this weld out someone did!

That's all got for now until parts show up.

I had been using the spray on wipe off aluminum cleaner on my Weld wheels whenever I washed the car. This time I used Mothers aluminum polish. I thought the wheels looked good before. The polish got rid of the cloudiness and really made the wheels look good, 2nd pic the wheel on the left is before polish and the right is after.
