Looks we're both tackling fuel pump conundrums Steve. I removed the A1000 earlier, changed the 10 micron post filter, and now I'm at a standstill. I have the pre filter hooked to the pump. But I need a different adapter to go from the pump to post filter...View attachment 113862
Hmmm, I wish I would've read the Fast info. I read somewhere(don't recall the source) that a stainless prefilter from 20 to 40 micron is recommended.the instruction for the Fast Efi says that the Walboro pump that comes with the kit does not require a prefilter because the pump has a screen.

Decent! I'm running a fuel cell so no strainer. I have a new tank, but for some unknown reason my brother in law chopped off the front strap mounts!!!!!! For the time being I'm gonna run the cell until I come up with a solution for the strap mounts.the other thing is that we have a filter on the pick up in the tank
"(The pump included in the EZ-EFIâ„¢ Fuel Pump kit features a built in strainer in its inlet. So a pre-filter is not required.)"
I felt that pain..... I ended up using longer than stock bolts to "pre-form" the straps then ran the stock bolts in.
At least it appears you got the right style. Summit sent me the right part number packing with the wrong part number inside, twice.
