electrical issues are fun??....

I was quite proud of myself for diagnosing the issue with a voltmeter. I checked the end of the excited wire at the alternator and saw I was getting 0.0v and said, "that's not good!" Traced the electricity back and realized the issue.

Not bad for a chemist 🤓

I'm not bad with electrical and I don't mind mind them when I can figure them out but crawling around on my knees with my head under the dash isn't what I consider to be enjoyable...I do like some electrical challenges, few years ago I put together relays, compactors and diodes to use my front flashers as DRL's which go on when car is in run, shut down on the side when I put the turn signal on and they shut down when I put the headlights on. It took me a while to figure that out but that was on the bench and easy enough to install in the GP..

New compressed and drier installed. Vacuuming down now.

My new dryer had a leaky Schrader valve on the fill port, and there were chunks of metal in the valve that turned out to be the tabs to remove the valve. Instead of messing with returning it, I just swapped with the pressure switch port and all seals up well now.

Finished!!!

Now that they are done I wish I used some all metal filler to smooth out those scratches

They look great!!!
