What Did You Do To Your G-Body Today? [2020]

Replaced the alternator about 1/2 hour ago, started and let it run to recharge the battery. Cruised GBF while the battery was charging.
Yesterday on my way to work, I noticed that the dash lights were getting very dim, and called a co-worker to pick me up and give me a ride. We both live south of our Seattle yard, but work on the same jobsite north of Seattle, so I parked the Caballero at our Seattle yard and he picked me up there.

Made some substantial yet really terrible looking progress (and a meme for it).

The welds are crap because I laid the weld through primer on too heavy, the top is ground further in than the bottom, and I had to bend the rear of the plate outwards to fit properly. But hey, the main plate is in on one side.

What cats are those? I might add some in next year.
American Racing Headers (they're down the road from me in NY) brand Cats, so far they've been in a little over a week and I LOVE driving the car now without the exhaust stink in the garage, or when stopped at lights, etc. It smells just like my C7 Corvette now if I let it idle in the garage which is basically water vapor/steam.

They did the original custom headers and exhaust before they had a G Body "kit" you could buy.

They're 3" in/out and I think about 4.5" overall so they barely appear more than a little bump in the pipe.

Here's a few better pics of them

Installed a Holley 12-803 fuel pressure regulator in the Regal since nobody makes a 3 port fuel pump that puts out the correct pressure.

Its a really nice kit. Wish they could make a Buick 350 swap kit 😛
My car has no mufflers, no cats, headers, and full length 2.5 jegs exhaust. No smell at all. Just smells like a car. If anything kinda smells like cam2 sometimes.

Oh I forgot to add... on the trip back from Wisconsin there was a 6.0 Silverado on the highway with very bright headlights. they pulled up beside us at a stoplight and said my car sounded nice, whats in it, etc. my brother who was driving (chauffeur lol) goosed it from the stoplight and once we got back on the highway we did a 50 to 100 roll and we were keeping up if not starting to walk away before my car ran out of breath in 3rd. This was with 2 fenders in the trunk, a full size spare, jack, jackstand, my 237lb *ss, brother's 140ishlb *ss, two suitcase style toolboxes, and a milk crate of random break down specific car parts and fluids.

Think it was a 2012ish model. Had that kinda front end. I say 6.0 because that's what they said.
