No the jeep shaft should go right in. Just notch the column for the cross bolt
Right again TURNA, I was just eyeballing it on the floor and had the input 90 off. Installed steering box and Jeep shaft today, can't wait to drive it.

200 miles does not break an engine in....but it is a good time to dump the oil for some fresh oil.
When funds allow. Can't even afford to drive it. I drive the Saturn again because its got more gas in the tank.

Used my neighbor's vise to drill/tap them bars. He finishing up putting a bumper and fenders on a street stock car, or as Steve calls them "metric" cars. Pretty wicked engine too.
Did you get holof the alignment rig?
I've got a 350 Buick.
Good luck.
IIRC, right hand donuts will live longer. Treat your Buford to good blood- get some Penngrade.

His alignment stuff won't work on my wheels. I'm gonna take it to a shop in town that does alot of high end hotrods, air ride cars, etc. Only $90, but the wife is "laid off" so the Cutty alignment isn't "essential" at the moment.

I bet your neighbor could fix you up for a "non essential" 30 pack... Make it fit your wheels and be way better off...

what class is the car in, it is much more sophisticated than any of the street stock cars we built. We were never permitted to move the engine back and we had to keep the stock firewall and steel fenders...and that engine looks more like a built motor for a sportsman or a pro late model..... 🤔
