Dug back into the wire harness's to see what is still needed, ordered, & is done. In the dash I saw I already pulled & swapped the temp wire for the conversion from warning light to gauge, made sure the delay wiper wire was added to the harness, the lighter plug was fixed correctly this time around (still might make one change to it for servicing), the radio power & memory plugs were done, dome delay plug housing replaced with a better one. Then I switched out the spliced speaker harness out of the "being used" bin with some perfect ones I pulled at the one yard last year. Looked over the original engine harness to see how bad I had it spliced up just to notice a shop replacement of the fusible links from about 28 years ago was a fire waiting to happen-12 gauge links on same gauge wire! :wtf: Then just organizing the other smaller harness's & components so I know what was what again. Need to figure out a good juncture box for all the main wires (alternator, blower motor, main lead to dash harnes) or what maxi fuses to use to dump the links.

I put my car on stand yet again( I feel like it spends more time on stands than on the ground). I wanted to pull the tank. I found some junk in the regulator and carb. I wanted to clean the tank out. I was also going to take the time to cut off the old exhaust hangers as they welded to the frame. Well I pulled the sender out and I found the tank was very clean inside but I found what looks to be a baffled tank. My old 84 cutlass did not have these baffles. It has me wondering what tank this is. 0249B4B9-AD32-44A3-A5FC-D7987BC28CBD.jpegA5529AD7-A1C5-419F-B9CD-69ACE3D170AD.jpegA41B95C8-6364-4A85-9EC1-44696237AD8F.jpeg

My 86 has the same thing. I was very surprised at how clean mine was, it’s about as clean as yours.

Got my backup lights working.
Lowered my front coilovers to the right height.
Set the camber on the RH side.
Got my Holley 850 vacuum secondary switched from E85 back to gasoline and ready to install (just more playing around with the new AFR gauge).
