Just an oil change. My damn-near-monthly oil change...

That's what happens when you commute 100 miles a day but cant bring yourself to be seen in the wifes X3

Took Olds Cool on her maiden voyage of the year after all the crap I did to it over the winter.

Definite check mark in the win column on this one. No strange noises, gauges all stayed happy, car felt smooth and strong. No leaks and really nothing to complain about.

I took it pretty easy on the stoplight launches and aggressive manoeuvres, I want the new posi center section to break in fully first, but I may have quickly tested to see whether or not it worked. No pictures, but the back seat now smells oddly of burnt rubber...
😈
Beautiful car Donovan. Congratulations!

Pulled my rear spoiler off the Hurst...the tips were loose as hell so I pulled them off and grinded off all the bondo and reglued them with some 3M body panel epoxy should be able to get it in primer this weekend. In the middle of May I should be getting my 428 Olds stroker SB for the car. Will post some pics and should have a dyno video to post soon.

Last night/today I sold my 2 inch fiberglass cowl hood to the white Elco and drove home hoodless. I'm picking up my 2 inch steel cowl hood today. (I own the brown Elco)

Drove it to work
Stopped at a burger place before hand. Parked to eat, started it up and it was popping out the drivers side. I assumed it was because the electric choke closed a bit.
Drove it closer to work, saw a bit of smoke roll out. "Probably the trans dipstick tube leaking again and dripping on the headers", I thought.

Pulled into work and parked next to my friend.
Gave a friendly blip and saw more smoke. Out the drivers side pipe this time.

👀👀👀

I shut it off, look under the hood and there's coolant around the jug on the fender. Its not overheating but coolant has left the jug and it was gurgling. Rad hoses are warm but not hot or hard. Gauge is accuate, 180*f.

So leads me to believe intake or head gasket leak. Ill pull plugs after work and look at em.

Oil is clean coolant is green.
