Washed and detailed it after getting home from another 560 km torture test on Olds Cool.
(Ran like a top and didn’t give a lick of trouble btw)

Will do a dedicated update in Olds Cool’s thread a bit later.

Made this for junior’s G-body, but it feels like mine.

Gran Prix dash. Still have to drill mounting holes, cig lighter (usb power ports), high beam, turn signal, shift and AFR safety light.

Then get everything wired - one more day and it’ll be ‘a driver’
What toggle switch panel is that?

They are Carlin switches. They will make whatever label you want and have a bunch of generic labels. They were really quite cheap (less than $150) for the switches, covers and mount. And they have worked well for years.

I had a drone sound in my Buick sport coupe. I made two 12 inch j style pipes out of exhaust and welded them into the exhaust, by the manifolds and the drone inside car is gone. My wife even likes quiet sound now. Total cost $17.

I'm having a hard time visualizing this. Any pics?

I still don't get it, do they reduce some of the vibration, or does it enlarge/expand the exhaust gas area before funneling back down to original diameter?

It captures the sound waves and reverb s back and actually cancels out the sound waves thus eliminating the drone.

Similar system is in place on my stock mustang exhaust from the factory, but using a much shorter piece of pipe. Not sure on how many other manufacturers are using these type things, but I know I wondered too when I first saw it.

The closer to the manifold you are, the shorter the pipe needs to be.
