Took the MC out for a ride late yesterday evening to the only local E85 gas station only to find it without functioning computers so I couldn’t fill up. Phoned home to be ready for road call with some fresh corn from the bone barrel.
The weather has been atrocious, over 10” of rain in the past 14 days. No drag strip test-n-tune for several weeks and the rain we are getting is like tropical rain forest monsoons daily. So last night, with 30+ hours of no rain (dry roads), I found a couple of open highway stretches to open it up.

All I can say is boost is addictive. Never hit 20lbs, but bounced over 110 twice - big tires on the back and skinnies on the front. Wow - when will the rain stop?

FWIW - not another car was in site during these hits in either direction (including the police)

Well, after coming home with a new daily yesterday evening... i noticed a freshly placed box on the deck by the front door. As i napped soon after arriving home, didnt get to snap a pic of it, however, it comprises of two metal pieces, in a box marked "matched pair". 5401 is the part number.

Must finish passenger side floor tub before taking the car off my stands. Neighbors are pretty chill... (63 pontiac 4dr with a "day 2" look, feel and smell. So, theyre okay if i run the 327 with one open side off the header. Ill take it to the road for picture day with 5659 rear springs installed with 4 years of settling, and then shortly after wit the new 5401's in place at the same spot with measuring tape references for a different thread i sent pics to last week.

Stay busy folksies,

R

Drove behind this little cream puff for a while the other day... first saw her in Renfrew, then caught this pic west of Arnprior. Is there a chance she is one of ours? (Ontario Crew).

Changed the plugs to fix a miss at idle. Good news, it fixed the miss, Bad new, while I had the passenger front tire off found the rubber break line had dry rot. fixed that too.

Yesterday I tried to diagnose my no brake like issue. I have yet to look at diagrams so I mainly just checked the switch. Check for power to the switch and such. Pedal switch seems to be working as it should. I have power to the switch. The lights turn on when I turn the city lights on but not when I press the brakes. I think it started when I put the DBW pedal in, I may have knocked something loose or unplugged something. I feel like pulling the dash and just going over everything and cleaning up the factory wiring. At that point I might just flock the dash since it’s out. I know it’s gonna spiral into a ton of other projects..

Also if anyone has decent diagrams for our harnesses they can share that’ll help. The ones I have don’t seem to be right.

Buying it is the easy part!

I don't find the time to do much to my G-body these days but I did get to take it in for its annual state safety inspection today. Still safe as a passenger vehicle, don't have to downgrade it to an antique registration!
