Installed a solid pinion spacer.

Wraith yes, I’m still using the 8.8 Exploder yoke. Why not?

I’m picking on Jon, but all of us can get crazy with the ‘might as wells’. Junkyard gears, junkyard yoke in a junkyard housing - it’s been living, so why not use it?

As much as I’m opposed to all things Ford, they figured something out with the ‘budget’ 8.8.

Regarding the pinion spacer - $13 Ratech from Amazon - came direct ship from Quick’s Performance. I bought 2 to have a spare just in case (ya know). I hoard hehe.

Just leave it in neutral on jackstands, run a pipe under the garage door for exhaust, and just sit in the seat turning the steering back and forth, play with the throttle to pretend it's driving
Just might have to do that

If it loaded right, the link ought to be for an F body water pump that will fit 97-04 Corvette/Camaro 5.7. Looking at this for my LS Orphan motor project. The visuals seem to offer what I need; just seeking a little confirmation here from someone belonging to the local LS Mafia.

Thanks, Nick

Replaced my two piece chinesium thermostat housing that was leaking with a one piece chinesium thermostat housing that is sealing properly and is somewhat shiny.

Traded a pair of hood hinges and a cracked plastic wheelwell for a pair of inner/outer rockers cut between the quarter and hinge pillar, a pair of console brackets, a pair of frame-side motor mounts, and, a new in box 10x10 collapsible canopy to use at swap meets. Figured it wouldn't hurt to be able to set up two of them instead of just one.

China bad.
While I agree, it's hard to find any new 0⁰ thermostat housings that are American made. Although I will admit that the new O-ring type housings are convenient when the ring seals.

I was just being a smarta$$. I try to avoid buying Chinese stuff but it's like trying to push against the ocean. They are definitely not our friends.

Already pulled the trigger on this but still interested in any comments.

I wish you luck, I just replaced mine that looked similar cause it was leaking. My buddy said it seems like the shiny ones always leak
