What did you do to your G-Body today 2024

Some day…. But I’ve got my sights set on having inner fenders. Want to keep it street capable to beat up on daddy’s boys in their expensive wastes of pavement.
There's a guy on the classic Gbody FB group that made some sheet metal bolt in fenders that look like they added room. He's out of Florida

I’ve seen that style floating around here and there, I’m not sure I like them. I was thinking on taking a similar route to what Bernie did on the SSM project. Move the liner up a bit, but make it 2 piece while adding clearance along the wheel well lip.

Started the other day on spraying the clear, had to adjust the spray gun some as I was getting runs in the clear. Today I started on the Driver side and ran into a problem. the Spray Gun was getting sticky and wouldn't spray the clear correctly resulting in blots which I had to sand down close to sun down as it was cooler. Another problem I ran into was bugs, though not pictured, I had a razor blade to get them off the hood. . It was a big mess today. We had some visitors in our area, Wild Turkey's, while I was dealing with a little disappointment and having a cigarette they showed up, they didn't bother me, they just went about their business. Anyway after that I had to take the gun apart and clean it up really well with what little thinners I have left. Friday, Saturday and Sunday we are expecting 100 degree weather I am going to try to respray the Driver side early tomorrow.

Got some more done, pretty much there now. Just need to make a mount for the head unit because it won't mount into the unit with the current clearances. Thinking of just fabbing up some wood to set it into and mount to the 2 holes that are already in the dash
