Teflon paste works better than the tape if you're not already using it. I'd replace the cpvc piece and try again as it may be damaged.

Gotta caulk it up and paint but it's not too shabby for my second attempt. This was my first one. They are seriously stout and should work out nicely.

It's got teflon tape on it. I think I'll see if I can find a union instead of the bushing, then I can work on sealing the threads without cutting it apart everytime.
I hate plumbing.
Waiting on the Mrs to finish purging her 13 years of hoarding so I can have enough swing space to remodel our downstairs bath and laundry area into a combination space for Mama and Daddy - leaving the upstairs to the girls to fight over until they move out.

Don't forget that's like going on a diet. 13 years to bulk up with 'treasures' and 'might need that later' takes a lot of decision time, and usually results in an outbreak of storage tubs. I have a whole dang house full of mix of stuff and tubs....
I sold a motor and transmission yesterday and dropped $300 in her hands. I am purging as much as she is - just with more profit and it really annoys her - LOL.
Yeah, not a swingers space - no matter how interesting that idea may be. Simply a place to "temporarily" move crap while I work (toilet, pump, sink, washer, dryer, etc) and put building materials (new walk-in shower, wood, drywall, etc)
Put Saran wrap over the toilet bowl so any practical jokes, um, backfire.
Got the yard cleaned up and threw some Wintergard Turf Builder down.

Somehow, I got some optirectalitis (can't see my @$$ doing it) about this wood that needs split. It's 1, and I have to be in Frederick at 4:15, all gussied up for family pictures. Ugh 🙄
