When you get some time: 1/4 turn ball valves are the way to go. It rained last two days so I just oiled up the Jeep brake bleeders every now and then.
Oh, there's a ball valve; my dumb@$$ drywalled it in the ceiling!

Went down in my unfinished basement and hung some plastic to try to compartmentalize my dust. Made plans for a new table saw stand. Collected materials for it, as well as some shelves and a new desk top. I've got a bunch of framing to do then call in an electrician. Doing it in stages. 1. Wood shop. 2. Office. 3. Mechanical room. 4. Guest suite. 5. Theatre room.
Basically did a bunch of scheming and shopping but didn't really dooo anything. Lame.

Jeep engine came home. It is on the stand still wrapped in plastic. Almost a shame to open it up and get going.

Waited/wasted all day waiting for Fed Up to deliver a part to get the train set under the tree for the Jr. Mechanic just to see the delivery statis change from on truck/end of the day today to no scheduled delivery date available at this time. I even seen the SOB drive past the house. Merry #$%@!*& Christmas.

Fed Ex is FUBAR this year, we have been waiting for a delivery from them since Tuesday of last week. Called and complained Friday and was guaranteed it would be here then, nope and then didn't try Saturday either. Says today, guess who isn't holding their breathe?

Entirely too much time has been sunk into studying for finals BUT

I did get some model parts painted, I better start wearing an elf hat since some of these are for christmas gifts for customers

And my group partner and I finished up our mini CMM for our class project. Measures down to .004" pretty reliably in X Y or Z. Pretty cool!

Too cold and damp for assembly so I concentrated on parts cleaning. I keep a big tub of #2 heating oil for soaking stuff. See how nice the intake came out? I used a furnace brush to get down the runners and the injector ports. I also have all the fasteners in there.
