Steve not one person thought that was a good idea. But maybe no one ever tried it. I won't take the chance because it's not my motor. Never mind, I ordered an '00 oil slinger. For some reason they discontinued it in '01. If it fits I will sleep easy. Even Buick used oil slingers to get that oil onto the timing chain. A plus is that it diverts excessive oil from the front seal.

Does your waterfall showerhead have the LED in it as well? I bought one that set for a couple months while I dealt with plumber issues, now that it is installed the first time using it leaks out of the pivot ball. Was wondering what you thought of yours?

Nothing cleans better than a hand held shower head.

I like the idea that it actually lubricates the chain instead of relying on the chain the pick up enough oil to keep the chain lubricated. With your idea it doesn't matter what angle the vehicle is on, the chain will always get oil. I wonder how much oil the chain in this Jeep has...

Hung the rest of the drywall for what will become part of my spare parts overflow.

Replaced the water damaged drywall and roten 2x4 few weeks back and we got dumped on with snow between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Trailer was buried and I didn't and to shovel it off. That couch came up cheap at the right time so I had to dig the trailer out for that. Since today was partially open and the trailer was clean ran to the store and bought another 2 sheets.

Originally this closet only had drywall in the exterior basement walls to cover the insulation but since it felt a bit unfinished decided to just finish the rest of the 2 walls and put a switch in the wall and get rid of the pull cord fixture in the ceiling.

Maybe get the walls painted in the next week and use some of the leftover floor paint and get the concrete looking good.

Still would rather do auto body but I do appreciate the ease and relative don't give an f on drywall work.

Belt tension 25$ Rockauto
Local parts store 73$ best they could do
Tie rod end Rockauto 3.17$

I'm pretty sure Chinese replacement parts are the only reason most people can afford to drive a VW after 100k miles. And what's funny is the VW forum guys are the most preachy about only using genuine VW parts...

cleaned out my grandmother's home this year and in the final(!!!) shoe box i came across a a few time slips and tickets from a track in Sanford Maine.I've heard stories for years about this place.they're most likely my dad's as that was the place to go in his youth and run.
