Finally chopped a hole in my bench and screwed down the cookie sheet. Hit the wood with some RTV to hopefully protect it from the inevitable drip of ATF and have some heavy objects holding the sheet to the bench. Not sure if I used enough RTV to bond the 2 or not.

Next challenge is hanging this to catch those drips. The wife suggested rails and I concur. Now to dream them up.

good idea but i think your arm will get tired......
I went out and futzed with the tip in fueling on my 1500. It hasn't been right since I put the marine intake and blower on back in 2017. This changed the injector trajectory and the amount of air that rushes in when you crack the throttle. I got it a lot better at 180 degrees, but it's a 3D map of ECT and MAP plotted against each other and the way it responds is not intuitive at all. I just did global bumps, so we'll see if the truck even starts in the morning.
And, you were trying to convince me to fvck with mine that runs just fine. Yeah, I don't think so, Scooter. Not surprisingly, truck didn't run this morning so I had to undo a lot of what I did last night. Instead of the MAP based transient table, I went after the TPS based one and seemingly got nowhere. I went back to the MAP based one, cranked it up in the high load area, blended that back down to low load just off idle, and went for a drive. Repeated 3X and it looks like I made progress but again, gotta see what it does off a cold start tomorrow.

Unless you lean it out and break ring lands off pistons.....Gotta keep fvcking with it until you get it right. The beauty of tuning is, even if you get it wrong, you can always go back.
