What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2021]

Quick little Sunday morning project. Removed the jump seat in my Silverado and installed a factory console. So much better now.

I've thought about doing that to mine. I like the kinda hidden compartment in the jump seat base. Plus my tunnel collects gloves and crap to have within reach.

Looks good!

Is the storage box in the console deep? Did you get one with the wireless charging pad?

Yes and yes. LOL There is a hidden compartment in this too, have to pull the storage bin up, not the cupholders but the other removable bin.

When I used to live in New England we had a small pocket of Sugarbush, a nice 8-10 acre or so patch of good thick 18" or greater diameter trees that could hold 3 or more buckets each. Used hand drill, nail in taps, and carry it back on horseshoes in a plastic fermenter pail, about 12 or 15 gallons at a time. Then I used the cast iron hanger in the fireplace to boil it out.

I went through plenty of coffee filters for a guy who didn't drink coffee. Mine usually turned out a medium or dark amber, not using an evaporator with better controls and all
how far north were you located?

how far north were you located?
Depends which time... that particular one I'm thinking of was up in the Berkshires in western mass where I spent the longest, although, I also spent time ranging as far north as near Montpelier VT and south as near Narragansett RI.

Had my front windows tinted.

Nice tint job but curious here. Don't the local cops get antsy when they can't see how many warm bodies are in the front seat? That kind of information absence tends to make them gun happy in some locales and 'hoods.

Nah, for the most part local cops don't really care. As long as it's not obnoxious limo tint and you're not doing anything suspicious you're generally fine.

That's a change. I remember seeing Ross cops making guys scrape the windows just so they didn't have to get towed.

Ross/West View cops don't seem to care. McCandless cops don't either for the most part. City cops apparently don't care about anything short of a moving violation.

Maybe some Ohio Township or North Boroughs like Pine Twp or something might try to get you for it, but they'd probably have to be actively looking to pull you over.
