Swapped out the propane tank in the TBSS... seems like it has been over a year since I've had to do that.

Friggin COVID...

Did some lathe work last night to replace a couple parts that were missing.

Machining time lapse videos always are cool to watch so I thought why not.

If you want to pay me to buy an editing software that allows me to adjust the volume I'd love to upgrade

I am old, and my hearing is going. I don't want it completely gone yet - somewhere between my kids going through puberty and my wife going through menopause would be ideal. In the meantime, just flash some text on the screen Homeslice. I can mute it on my end.

Awesome work as always!

Then again, it is a video of a machine lathe running... I haven't seen a quiet one yet 🤣

It was the pneumatic cutoff wheel. 😉

More lathe stuff.

Went to the weird electronics surplus store and bought a potentiometer for the speed control and a switch for forward and reverse.

I have usually just changed speed on the VFD with the buttons on the display but it's really slow and annoying. I also didn't have reverse that was easy to access, had to go into a bunch of menus which ment opening the manual and all that jazz.

Built a little panel to hold the controls, wired it up and changed a few settings and boom! I can flip to forward and reverse easy with the switch and switch the speed with the turn of the dial.
