Where has all my free time gone?

The damn basement.

Paid entirely too much for a drywall crew to mud tape and sand the ceiling

Wife and I put 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint on the ceiling and one coat on the walls.

Gotta get another coat on the wall, reinstall the trim, covers, put in the egress window trim, reinstall the lights and fan, pull up the plastic, blah blah blah.

I built a crate to send the clutch and flywheel in for freshening. McLeod's suggestions for cardboard were laughable. Whole thing is 15 1/4×same×4", and weighs 46lbs! MDF FTW 20210602_185727.jpg 20210602_182935.jpg

I just did the same for my Model-A. Cardboard (dbl wall) box w/packing material to keep the weight down. Still weighed 74lbs. The returned (machined/lightened/balanced) flywheel +V8 PP & clutch was 57lbs.
