What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2022]

All that to me looks like a lack of lubrication..🤔

I dunno, it's not galled and I kept it full? 🤔 Have you ever torn into a transmission 2 years after using billet keys and brass fork pads?

Clearly I was limited by the physics of the situation, not by my choice of vehicle. The other trucks got recovered over night.

Had to dig out the middle of a tall drift on the way back. But, got back home just fine.

Looks to me like a good 80mph running start in broad daylight coulda saved you some headache. I've never had the balls to try one that extreme before though, you're just along for the ride once it hits that drift.

So you are mad your 40+ year old truck with probably 1/3 of it's original parts isn't holding up to Iowa winter daily driving duties?

Yeah definitely sounds like Ford is to blame.
I want to know how many miles are on that engine? I bet money it has more miles on it than any small block Chevy's or MrSony built Buick engine would have on it. FE Ford's wher good engines.

Fog light mounts on and fog lights mounted. Also installed the rear seat belts. Still working on wiring harnesses to light them up.
Cool project! Let's see some more pics!

I have not, that one just shows signs of lack of lubrication the way it looks. What fluid you running?

This one doesn't suck....
