Fin, done, adios

Bathroom project is done.

I guess it still needs a mirror and silicone between the floor and tub, the ledge of the tub to tile wall and around the toilet, but I'm calling it close enough.

Put in the toilet and vanity, baseboard heater, baseboard trim, cleaned the extra grout off, toilet roll holder, and door/trim.

Need to order a glass shower door also.

Nice job.

Finished my entry porch remodel and coat rack. View attachment 196172 View attachment 196173 View attachment 196174 Before pictures. View attachment 196175 View attachment 196176 View attachment 196177 I know it still looks old and I didn't do much, but that was the point. My house is very old farm house. All that is left is to come up with some baskets for the top and a cabinet for the pool chemicals and such.

I have a sh*t time keeping my family in order... much less their things. Good work, but godspeed on them keeping it looking nice for more than a week.

Those barrel chairs and table are killer!

Thanks Mike. I am not going to show you the rest of the house right now. I can't believe how messy kids are. Every year I pick a room to spruce up. I almost need to start back to the first one again. I really like those chairs. They are kind of outdated, but comfy. The stool in the corner my grandfather made a long time ago from horse hames and a tractor seat.

I went to help a friend yesterday and lost my wallet somewhere. Last night Janet and I canceled all the credit cards and I contacted my Bank. Next step is come up with enough points of identification to get a license and make an appointment. That should be fun dealing with the NJ DMV

Worked on cleaning up the Impala wiring, eliminate garbage that would cause a fire, plus eliminate the old K40 laser jammer and old Viper alarm.

Underhood wiring not needed

Under dash garbage

I know that g-bodies are our passion BUT seems we all have 500 other projects(motorcycles, houses, etc) going on at the same time.

I'm not doing a build thread but am currently working on a BMW R65ls for a neighbor. Tore it most the way down yesterday and dropped of the bodywork for new paint in Estoril Blue II to match his M performance 3 series.

Before

Today

The drop off

I have a 1959 BMW R 26 that my dad bought new that has never been out of our family.

Getting ready for inspection for my daily. Its a 2006 fusion. My wife bought it new, and its just under 200k. Last year I replaced everything up front chasing a noise ( upper and lower control arms, loaded struts, sway bar end links. Needs a flex pipe in the exhaust, 4 tires and the rear tires are cambered in so I need a set of adjustable control arms. Figured why not throw on new shocks and springs while I'm there. Man i'm getting too old for this sh*t, did the passenger side yesterday and I'm feeling it. Only thing I'm doing on the daily's from now on is oil changes and breaks. One of the shops around work is getting the drivers side. I don't mind being sore working on the Cutlass its a labor of love.
