So we bought the Envoy back in April of 2016 and the PO or his valet buddies had backed it into something and dented the plastic bumper skin.

This thing was easy to remove, they're so cheaply mounted it's laughable. I flipped it over, stepped on it, let it sit in the sun and now it's way less bad.

Before I could reinstall, there was some rust that needed dealt with. Surprising given all my rust free claims on this thing.

I'm sure you rust belt guys are laughing. I'd actually cleaned a bunch of dirt off here and removed the top section that makes it not a step bumper. Not perfect, but a lot less bad. That should slow it down to the point something else rots out first.

And with the top back on. I chased the threads with a tap, the bolts were a little rough coming out.

After the skin was back on, I headed to the car wash to get all the salt off. I timed out the undercarriage spray like I always do, it looks nice and clean down there now. I don't think these scratches are buffing out.

And on this day last year, I dropped my newborn in the non-G thread. Born 3 weeks early with a fetal growth restriction at 5# 10oz.

She was tiny! But you'd never know the existential threat she persevered through in the womb today. Her length, weight, and development are all back on track.
