Roll cage!
Not ruling anything out at this time!
Roll cage!
Rear frame brace that ties the ends of the frame rails together. Bolt on style... tubing welded to plates that bolt to the end of the frame rails. You got this! What did I do to my shop today?
Added a new piece of equipment to it. Hydraulic pipe and tubing bender, it’ll bend 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1 1/4, 1 1/2 and 2". Got it “previously enjoyed” from a friend, it includes all the dies and a sturdy stand he built for it too.
Price was right, for $100 I couldn’t really pass it up. Should be able to build all manner of cool sh*t with this, from roll cages to jounce bars, crossmembers, you name it.

Looks right at home in its new spot along the equipment wall:

Now I just gotta figure out the first cool thing to make with it!

Great idea for the first project with it! Totally doable.
Thanks James!
Hey Zach, being the floor is now 6" thick, you can safely anchor a lift wink wink!I sat in it and admired my concrete. I can't wait to start working in it on my new floor. I have to wait three weeks before I can drive on it. The concrete guys miss judged. It was supposed too be five inches thick, but it ended up being closer to six inches thick. They ate the difference in price. They said beings it is cooler it will cure slower and will end up being harder. I am so happy I finally got concrete. Before the concrete guys started working, I was working on getting the ceiling framed up. I hope to have the ceiling done and insulated before the end of the year. Next year I hope to have the walls insulated and finished. Then I will have something. My car is running and driving so good I decided I am not going to do much to it for a while and focus on my shop. Sorry no pictures. My phone is not cooperating.
There is a four post lift at my Mom's that was my belated father's. I fully plan on stealing it some day and putting it in my shop! The five plus inches is because of the heavy skid steer. A 30x40 building looks so big with nothing in it.Hey Zach, being the floor is now 6" thick, you can safely anchor a lift wink wink!
