I used some Corona cash to get a huge upgrade for my shop. I've been using hand me down tool boxes for years, and it was time for a change. Next will be a compressor, but I went from these two units....View attachment 145253

I'll get a top chest at some point but for now this has way more storage than I'm used to!

Very nice Scott. I've been thinking about picking up one of there carts but I don't want to get under Eric's skin at the building. Because ever sense he closed his engine shop he's been a Mac tools dealer lol

Just tell him that you are sorry, but for the price you couldn't pass it up. Besides, it's not his money you're spending, unless he thinks you beat him out of a sales commission.

Exactly. After having this box at home now, and looking at the other brands that are 3× or more, makes ya realize how much they are marking up their shizz!!!!!

Pulled my old bumper emblem out of safe keeping, cleaned it up and freshened the letters up. Had a perfect spot for it.....

Yeah but I still owe him money for the rear for my cutlass and the quarantine has him on the edge of bankruptcy

I took some pictures of it, because some of you guys seem to be interested in different things.

It is a work in progress. I got concrete in it last fall after seven years. It is a little messy right now. I have been trying really hard to keep it organized and clean. My other shop at my mother's house is not this clean. That building is becoming the storage shop now I guess because it is 10 miles away and I don't own it. I also have a 20 x 40 building that is a catch all. That's where all my horse wagons and crap get put.

When's the last time you seen horse harness in a shop? This is two sets of pony work harness. The show harness and saddles are in the house. Witch my wife hates, but I like. Yep I'm an oddball.

Come to Iowa. Taxes and Living is cheap. The building cost me around 15000 seven years ago. The concrete last fall was 7000. No building permits were I live. You can buy an acreage like mine for 170000. Average wages are 40000+ a year.

So my garage was lacking in lighting on the back half where the overhead door is. I picked up two LED shop lights from Walmart for $17/each and it made a huge difference! I now have six 4 footers putting out a total of 23,000 +/- lumens!

After moving into the new house almost a year ago, I'm finally getting around to running the air lines from the compressor up to the garage. Today I mounted an after cooler on the back of the belt guard and built a water separator that I'll plumb in after the cooler and before the tank. Still need to add a filter, run piping from the tank to the garage and add a couple drops with quick release couplers.
