on my compressor I switched out the motor for a real 5 hp motor with lower rpm and it really lowers the noise.....
Is EMT required by code where you live? I'd use some MC cable in the required size. It's way easier to use and is rated for surface exposure in garages and such in my area. Have to get a cutter but still better than bending pipe and pulling wire. I'll agree that the pipe looks better though.So I'm venturing into new territory and doing house wiring. I started by picking up some supplies to wire up the compressor. I still need some EMT to run everything, but so far I have the compressor plug wired and ready.
Today I went to a Parker fitting store and attempted to buy filters locally, but that was a joke! Not only did they not have anything in stock, the price for one was more than I could get both for on ebay!!!!! Anywho, I have a filter/water separator and a coalescing filter on the way.
