Finally got some shelving built in the container-now I can organize the two barns and both G-body and Military truck hobbies’ seemingly thousands of spare parts and bits and pieces.

Cleaned up the garage and put together a little detailing/car wash rack. The pancake compressor fit perfect on top and will be used to blow out dust and all that on the fly.

you need to get yurself one of these....

Someone brought one to the track last year. It was supposed to be for the bugs, but you know how it goes when the beers begin to flow. I cleaned up a little in my garage and packed some crap to chip away at the flipper dually tomorrow at my hangar.

Put a magnet up to hold small pneumatic tools because when I set them on a shelf they walk off.

What size bolts did you use to mount this? I have a similar reel and want to mount it to the wall but I imagine the size and weight will require a pretty good lag bolt to get it from falling off the wall at the first yank.

7/16 but I have access to both sides and put flat bar behind for extra support

I did a couple of hours of cleaning in the shop. I bought a bunch of 17 gallon storage containers from Lowes and they are the perfect size to fit on the 8' x 24" shelves I have put up anywhere I can find space. I was trying to label the containers and "organize" into them as I go but i would probably die of old age before I finished. What I am doing now is just filling them with similar stuff and putting them on the shelf. When I finish and have all the big stuff organized, I will go container by container and organize the stuff properly. This will allow me to work in a relatively clean and organized shop, even if I can't find most of the unorganized sh*t I'm looking for.

Spent about four hours over the last two days continuing to clean and organize my shop. Am almost to the point where I can start working on a couple of my projects. First, I am going to try to powder coat a couple of things. I bought the powder coat equipment at the beginning of summer and had a friend make me a small oven. Should be trying that by Friday. Also have to put together my CnC plasma cutter and table. Been sitting on that since March. Will finally post some pics on Thursday.
