I took 2 12' sections of soffit and a box of BS LEDs back to Lowe's. I bought a 3 pack of Raid Max bug cyanide because my garage seems to be infested by Brown Recluse spiders đź•·. Those little bastids are n-a-s-t-y!!!

Nope. Nope. Nope.

Do not want.

100% correct. You don't see them, they don't hurt when they bite, and Ortho Home Defense doesn't kill them, even if you think you know where they are.

Couldn’t stand the disaster that it had become, so did a major tidy up and put away, then started scrubbing. It was pretty bad.

A red Scotchbrite and some general household cleaner did a pretty good job of removing the dust, dirt, overspray and polish fling. Looks so much better now.

I’m a bit embarrassed that I let it get so bad, but whatever, it is a functional shop afterall. Not a showroom.

Ha! You think that was bad? You don't want to see my garage/shop. I've got multiples of most things because I am too cluttered to find the first/originals and have to buy them again.
I do like your little drill press, and have been thinking of getting one, but because of the clutter, have no place to put one.

I walked past mine, shrugged in disgust, and tried to forget it.

My timer for the soffit lights came in today, and the neighbor insisted on keeping them plugged in past dark. I have to say that I'm impressed,; they look awesome!

The spider battle continues; still getting lit up by those little fvcks. So far, it's been 3 rounds of Ortho Home Defense, 3 simultaneous Raid Max bombs 3 rounds of peppermint oil spray, and some select nuclear mushrooms of Rainbow Telco Wasp spray. I saw what I think was 4 of them yesterday. When I say little, I mean the size of a Bic pen roller ball with legs, and brown. I don't know if they're the culprits, but those are what I saw.
On the plus side, I finally got the Tork timer installed and programmed on the soffit lights; on at sunset, off at 10:15pm.

Ordered a squat rack for the garage/home gym because Winter is coming. Trying to buy Olympic bars and plates is a huge PITA right now. I may have to make my own (the bar at least - we have sourced a place that cuts steel plates from stock).

Not that I am horribly out of shape but damn am I not where I want to be right now. If I can get about 250lbs at the house that would be a great start.

Yeah I tried buying plates at the start of the whole COVID debacle incase the gyms shut down for the foreseeable future. But as a young lad I decided to buy all standard stuff instead of Olympic now I regret it because everyone goes Olympic. So needless to say I gave up on that adventure and now have not found my way to the gym in quite a while, so I live by round is a shape

Built these today from a couple of grounding rods (?) I found on the property and a set of old winter wheels from the TBSS. My welder got upset at me because I had the amperage cranked to weld the 7/8" bars to the plate I welded to the wheels.

Now I can do more neutral hand position exercises. My father-in-law thinks I am a psycho - but, he is a type 2 diabetic and was stuffing his face with a sausage at 3 in the afternoon sitting on my deck. Sooooo yeah...
