Not a best or worst, but... I was taking the family from NYC to Pittsburgh in a '75 AMC Matadore wagon that had a crummy radio and a tape player. My Daughter brought only ONE tape- Michael Jackson's THRILLER- and refused to stop playing it. All 500 miles. I love her, but, to this day I know the words to every song on that album!

If it were me, that tape woulda been thrown out the window after about the third song, lol. I think I'd shoot myself before I listened to 500 miles of Thriller.

Back when I first started dating my gf (7 1/2 years ago now), one of her friends needed a ride from Ft Drum to Syracuse area, so I got volunteered to drive, figures. At the time the only runing vehicle I had was the malibu, but it was set up to go down the highway back then (2.41's out back  ). Anyway, Ft Drum is roughly an hour and 50 minutes from me, for some reason (cerfew?) I had to be there by midnight to pick up her friend. We left my house at 9:30 to give us plenty of time to get there, I didn't account that I would miss my turn and travel almost 50 miles the wrong way before I realized it. She was less than impressed, haha, it was nearing 11 O'clock and I was still roughly 75 miles from my destination. So out came the atlas, to plan my best route (meanwhile, she's bitching about how I should be driving, not planning  ). I basically had two options, backroads, or highway, I chose the backroads, again she was less than impressed  . That was about the time when I told her to STFU or I'll just go home, it worked, the rest of the ride up, all I heard was the song of the engine, it spent a lot of time above 3000 rpm that night  .

The short of it, we made it on time, picked up her friend and headed back towards home, all was good, until, the back seat driver kicked in. Whining about everything from the car is too loud to hear the cell phone, it's too cold, the classic rock music sucks (wanna be thug douche), blah, blah, blah. The Solution, In went the Slayer CD, up went the volume, down went the windows, out with the comment, "don't like it, walk". I had a nice enjoyable ride from then on, metal cranked, cool night, car running flawless, and two pissed off, but silent passengers  .
