I know you're against it but I did the 8.8 swap and its great. The rearend is now not even a concern of mine...

$75 new bearings
$260 Instant Center correction kit
$90 brake lines, pads, rotor resurface

it doesn't say in the ad but that 10 bolt would be an 8.2 and I'm surprised that it would be an Auburn and not an Eaton posi

My parts list, for your 7.5:banana: Weld up the axle tubes to the center housing. Moser pn A102801/28 spline, stock length on my elco. Get a 3 series carrier from late 80 s, early 90 s f body, or s 10 axle. (auburn posi preferred) They are 28 spline. There are lots of trailing arm sets available, E-bay, for not a lot of money. 3.08 or higher gears are 26 spline, & 2 series. good luck. P.S. 1 tire hooking, by me is, u burned the spinner.
